Most of us over the age of 35 cannot help but notice how the experience of childhood has changed. Kids face more stress than ever before. Most of us were not as strictly regimented as young people are now. Who remembers just "hanging out" with your friends after school rather than making a "play date?"

For better or worse, nowadays our youngsters are often heavily scheduled. With this comes the pressure to excel not only in school but in extracurricular activities as well. Due to economic demands usually both parents often work outside the home and single-parent households have become commonplace. It can be a tough balancing act to make sure our kids and teens get the attention and guidance that they need.  Often this stress expresses itself in problem habits and fears.

Hypnosis counseling can often help kids with problems related to:

-Fears related to school, sports and the performing arts.
-Lack of self-confidence.
-Habits like thumbsucking and bedwetting.
-Inability to relax and focus.

Kids are a natural at receiving the benefits of hypnosis-more so than adults because they tend to be more imaginative and creative. Since children usually have shorter attention spans than adults their sessions are usually brief and a deep trance state is not usually achieved. However, deep hypnotic trance is not necessary to help your child, a light stage of hypnosis will be more than adequate.

For most problems, 2-4 sessions are needed. The rate for children under 14 is $100 for two visits, the adult rate applies to those over 14 at $100 per session.
