James Malone has been practicing hypnosis counseling since 1995 after he received his National Guild
of Hypnotist's Certification while studying at the Harte Center for Hypnosis in NYC. He is on a personal mission to "help
those people who want to help themselves."
In 2001 he completed an earned
alternative doctoral degree program in Clinical Hypnotherapy through American Pacific University with a dissertation project
on hypnosis for weight loss.
He realizes that modern life with its seemingly endless
pressures and demands, can easily throw your world out of balance. This stress often manifests itself in unwanted habits,
fears and pessimism leaving you looking and feeling old before your time. And who wants that?
Modern
hypnosis counseling has tools that can really benefit the person willing to take an active role in changing his or her life.
Jim reports that nothing is more gratifying than seeing clients make a quantuum leaps in their lives when they felt stuck
previously.
For several years he has been an adjunct instructor with Ocean County College's Continuing and
Professional Education programs, teaching popular classes on quitting smoking, losing weight and stress reduction.
A recognized expert on the use of mind/body healing
to relieve the distress of tinnitus, he volunteers as a guest speaker and support group facilitator for the American Tinnitus
Association.
In 2007, 2008 and 2009 he was voted "Best of the Best-Holistic Practitioner" in the Asbury
Park Press' Readers Poll.
Along with facilitating group and private sessions for a wide variety of self-improvement
topics, Jim also enjoys writing self-help works, including several well-received e-books. Since 1999 he has published the
popular Creative Calm newsletter, which provides a message of empowerment to a worldwide readership-a project he truly enjoys
as it keeps him connected with many of his former clients and professional colleagues that he has met over the years.
